Our History
Established in 1988
Kwaggafontein Nursery was founded in 1988 by Deon Coetzee after he was introduced to European cultivation standards and recognised a clear gap in the South African market: high-quality seedlings at an affordable price. Over the past three decades, Deon and his wife Mariana, alongside their experienced team, have steadily grown the nursery into a trusted name in commercial seedling production. In the last decade, their sons, Cobus and Willie, joined the business - strengthening its future while preserving its family-driven foundation.
What began as a small family operation has evolved into a large-scale wholesale nursery. Despite this growth, our purpose has never changed. We remain committed to the principles that built our reputation from the start: uncompromising quality, consistent performance, and reliable service.
